Book Club Feedback
Here is what is being said about our Book Club sessions:
"Donna has facilitated sold out events at libraries where readers come together with authors for an exciting exchange of ideas. Donna is inventive, creating a social aspect to a reading life, bringing the book alive for readers. She was the first person I turned to when making a film adaptation of my debut novel. She organized a group to come in for the first test audience, thereby giving the readers an inside peek into the adaptation of novel to screen.
Donna has been on the cutting edge of the book club revolution, providing authors with connection to readers, giving readers memorable events with their favorite writers and keeping a vital log and history of the books read, and the readers reactions to them. She is the Catherine Deneuve of the book world, while she is beautiful, it is her generosity of spirit, keen intellect and enthusiasm that sets her apart. I can't imagine my book life without her!"

"Donna Diamond has lived a life immersed in books and stories and to be asked to speak to her group is to be allowed into "the club" where one gets to watch a master at work with literature. Donna enriches everyone's lives with her love of books and her own story will enrich yours."
~ Lee Woodruff, New York Times Bestselling author, journalist, essayist, media consultant and co-founder with her husband, Bob Woodruff, of the Bob Woodruff Foundation, #Stand4Heroes to support our men and women war veterans

"Donna Diamond is a powerhouse book club leader. She has a spark that enlivens any conversation, and when she brings books and readers and authors together, it’s a special sort of magic. Being asked to present to one of her groups is definitely a delight and an honor."

“Your book arrived and I just can’t tell you how touched I am to have three books included. I’ve spent quite a bit of time this afternoon looking through the entire volume. Wow! You’ve read so many great books and had a lot of fantastic experiences. This is a remarkable achievement. Thank you so much for including my books, and for being such a huge supporter of books and reading. Sending lots of good cheer.”

“I found your book, ‘Book Club’, remarkable and enjoyed it immensely; I shared several of your insights with my book club friends. Thank you for that wonderful book. I am hoping to join a zoom book club during this sequester and was told by a librarian from the Elwood Public Library that you are hosting several. May I join one or two of these? I would love to participate. In the meantime, stay safe and healthy. Happy reading and warm regards,
~ Claire L.
"Tonight I went to my library book club discussion for two reasons: the first was to see how it was run and secondly I wanted to read a book about Montana since I will be in the neighborhood in a few months. The book was very short and I really liked it from page one. It was called Montana 1949 and revolved around family dynamics with a prejudicial race component which got ugly. Anyway, you are still my number one for discussion leaders with your insight into the story, the way you carry a discussion, the knowledge you bring for the group about the topic, your smile, enthusiasm and preparedness. You are the best! "
~ Carol P.
"I want to thank you for presenting
The Rent Collector in such a great manner. The discussion was informative and the author's telephone chat with us contributed so much background info which helped make the book more real. I think this book was a terrific find, and I appreciate how you handled it. It really left an impression."
~ Helaine B.
"Donna, I have visited your website. It is a wonderful resource for book options and as a place to read other's comments or thoughts on the books. Thank you for developing and also sharing the site with me. I already have ordered books on your list that I have not yet read. I will continue to check the site for new book suggestions and related topics. Your passion and eagerness to share and talk about books is energizing and makes me hopeful in this challenging time in our world."
~ Peggi Z.
“Bravo! You did an amazing job with Monday’s book discussion! What a lovely group of ladies, too. Everyone is so thoughtful and interesting; and your facilitating skills are simply the gold standard.

I spent a wonderful afternoon chatting with Ernest Hemingway about 'The Old Man and the Sea'
and F. Scott Fitzgerald about 'The Great Gatsby'.
